EPISODE V: The Defense of Marriage Act Strikes Back!

Written by  Ray Gill, DOMA Supporter

Have you heard the good news? Well, yes Jesus loves you. But have you heard the even better news? The Defense of Marriage Act is back! And this time it’s destroying the life of a gay man named Anthony Makk by deporting his wallaby-loving ass to Australia after 19 years as he attempts to care for his AIDs stricken husband. Hallelujah! Nothing like devastating the lives of gay immigrants under the guise of some magical sky God to brighten up your day!

This Aussie menace has been eating our American pudding since 1992. That’s 19 years. 19 years, might I add, that have been wrought with constant turmoil.  Since Anthony Makk has lived in the US there have been four wars, an economic recession and dare I say it..9/11. Now you can’t tell me that it’s some un-Godly coincidence that all those terrible things happened during the 19 year span Makk has lived in this country. Am I suggesting Anthony Makk caused 9/11? Well, I’m not, not suggesting it. All I know is this, I’m not waiting another 19 years to find out if something terrible happens because we want to “treat people like human beings.”

I mean he’s a gay…immigrant!!! That’s a double-whammy baby. Four-pointer at the buzzer. That’s not even a real thing!

And so what if Makk is the sole caregiver of a severely ill AIDS victim? America has one of the top 50 healthcare systems in the world. Surely Bradford Wells will be swooped up by our efficient, cost-effective and nurturing system of healthcare. You don’t think our elaborate monkey play we call a medical system can care for someone better than the man he’s married to and has lived with for 19 years? Right now there are literally tens of over-worked and underpaid registered nurses from the island nation of Trinidad who would be willing to care for Bradford if he is able to meet the unmanageable co-payments and deductibles assessed for home nursing care.

I just have to thank the Lord that the government has decided to spend the time and resources prosecuting this case. In a time when unemployment is at 9.2%, soldiers are being killed overseas, and the government has been on the brink of completely failing to meet its debts it is a massive relief that our taxpayer money is being used to see if an Australian man, who’s lived here for 19 years, should be deported due to an arbitrary time-limit.

After all, Australians have historically been the greatest threat to our country. Australians, masterminds of nearly every terrorist attack and drug-ring in American history. We could not afford to let Anthony Makk live in this country any longer. The security of our nation depended on it. And now back to wife-hitting Wednesdays. The way marriage is supposed to be done.
